Williamson County CASA is the only CASA Program serving the needs of abused and neglected children in Williamson County.

It shouldn't hurt to be a child.

Every year more than three million children, nationally, are reported abused or neglected.  Despite the states' attempts to help, may of these children become trapped in the court and child welfare mazeChildren can spend much of their childhood moving from one temporary home to another.

In Williamson county, that's where the Williamson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers step in to speak up for the best interests of the childCASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to recommend the best possible outcomes for an abused or neglected child.  The ultimate goal of the CASA volunteer is to help ensure that every one of these children can live in a safe, permanent home.
